Laura Pastuszek
Currently, a high school special education English/resource teacher, I also teach a college writing course. Previous career endeavors have included teaching special education, general education and English to second language learners. Prior teaching experience has been in diverse settings and populations with toddlers through adults. Educational experience has been in private school in Philadelphia, an approved private school in Chicago, a charter school in West Chester, PA, a public high school outside of Baltimore and various other teaching roles both formally and informally.
Passions and interests encompass national and international travel. Trips have included visits to 48 states and 21 countries. I taught in South Korea in the summer of 2008. Every trip had a unique purpose for sight seeing, volunteer work or teaching. Each travel experience has brought greater understanding about humanity. As a result of my journeys, I have a plethora of ideas to write about and many photography opportunities.
My reflections from traveling can be found at a single tapestry.
